  • Familiar with customizing Clinical Reminders, Taxonomies, Reminder Dialogs, Definitions, Groups, Elements, Prompts, Cohort and Resolution Logic, Finding Items, Finding Types, Health Factors, Orderable Items, Education, in a MUMPS setting.
  • Troubleshoots a wide range of applications in CPRS to include The Consult Management Package, Notification Management Menu, Text Integration Utilities Package, Clinical Reminders Package, Order Menu Management, Authorized Subscription Utility, Bi-Directional Health Information Exchange, <BHIE, POC> The Secure Health Alliance Records Exchange, <SHARE> and The Composite Health Care System <CHCS>.
  • Coordinate with Lab Manager to reconfigure lab quick orders in various menus after changes are made in the Laboratory Package.
  • Coordinate with Imaging Manager to reconfigure imaging quick orders  in various menus after changes are made in the Radiology package.
  • Compile and Create Business Rules within the TIU Package enabling specific options in accordance with Use Class Assignments.
  • Familiar with The General Parameter Package <XPAR> adjusting parameters as needed.
  • Point of Contact  for The Operating Room Scheduling and Request Display <ORSRD> Package. Assisted developers in troubleshooting and Computer Specialists in the installation of this package on specific client's within The Augusta, Georgia Va Medical Center.
  • Point of Contact for the CPRS Photo Picture Display. Responsible for hosting calls in evaluating, testing and implementing this package.
  • Familiar with the implementation of Care Management through The CPRS Managers Menu and General Parameters. Ongoing teaching to Nursing and Clinical personnel.
  • POC Trainer and CAC for Dialog Medical Electronic Informed Consent Signature Package. Creates Electronic Informed Consents and Educational Non Informed Consents for Specialties within the Organization. Familiar with creating templates at the local level and submits requests to Dialog Medical for future enhancements. Installed and tested monthly builds on the Dialog Medical local Informed Consent Server until I got promoted and privileges were removed. Only in the government, eh?.
